Steps for Registration
Step #1:Residents that reside within the Banta Elementary School District Boundaries and the River Islands Development may begin the registration process, for the 2018-19 school year.
Proof of residency is required.
The following documentation is required at the registration appointment:
- Builder’s Note, Mortgage Note, or Rental Agreement (may require additional documents)
- Utility Bill – must be a Water Bill, Electric, or Trash Bill
- ID with current address and/or receipt of current address change from DMV
If you have any questions regarding the above listed items, please contact the office before moving on to the next steps in the registration process. If you are NOT able to provide the above required documents your student(s) will NOT be considered for enrollment.
Note* If you have not received an email confirming your child’s enrollment, are unsure if your child was selected, or you have questions please call the school office (209) 229-4700 before continuing to step #2.
Step #2: Pick up your student’s registration packet in the school office or print the documents from the school website.
Step #3: Complete all Paperwork required and collect all the documents required for registration. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT UNTIL YOU HAVE ALL THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS ARE COMPLETED. YOUR APPOINTMENT WILL NEED TO BE RESCHEDULED IF DOCUMENTS ARE MISSING AND/OR INCOMPLETE.
Note* Please bring in an Appointment Card from the doctor indicating the date and time of your appointment for all physical and dental appointments scheduled after your registration appointment date. Kindergarten students must have a physical dated on or after March 1, 2018.
